The Lich King falls this week to our 10 man crew, expect several heroic kills next week!  Also the 25 man raid core has been making great progress and downed Valithria Dreamwalker with good progress on the Blood Queen as well.

Why do we care about Putricide dying again?

It’s a little known fact that Corvus has been struggling these last weeks, and being able to kill Putricide again after having to literally rebuild half of our raid force back up from the ground is good news.

We have some new faces, and some old veterans who stepped it up big time to ensure Corvus would back raiding competitively in no time.  A big thanks to those like Oxxe, Dersif, Drac, Aedion, and Hratli (and the rest of yous) for coming back in and taking care of your friends.  You did not disappoint, and the new recruits are looking downright fierce!

No one expect this quick or this great of a recovery.  Looking over the numbers and the potential here we seem to be in a better place then we were before the cool kids left us all hanging.  When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade.  When life hands Corvus lemons, they make lemonade with all kinds of alcohol, cocaine, illegal gambling, firearms, rape, and stripper pillow fights mixed in it.

Damn, I am proud of you all.

Are dead… again.  The Professor, not so much.  We will see what we can do before the reset but it looks like he will have to wait until next week.  Festergut was a great fight and took us a few hours to master, with a short raid week sometimes progress is a bit slow.

A big thanks to all who put forth maximum effort into a 6 hour raid week and still make great things happen.  Also, Anagran is now the proud owner of Shadow’s Edge.

Note this will sway as more guilds report their progress, but we should setting somewhere in the top 50 by weeks end.  Still just damn amazing in comparison.  I think the power guilds are taking a break during the holidays and we are loving it.

10 Man - Dec 10th

Grats guys on a hard earned kill!  A one shot even!

We don’t expect it to continue, but we certainly are going to enjoy the massive amount of success our 25 and 10 man raids have had this first week in ICC.  A special shout out to both of our ten man groups for the national placement this week.

Expect Insanity Achievement to follow this up in the coming weeks.

Lord Marrowgar and Lady Deathwhisper got themselves dead.  We actually missed having trash to kill.  Tonight… we gonna be on a boat.

The end of October brought Corvus two progression kills.  Northrend Beasts, and Lord Jaraxxus both fell as progression on the evening of October 28th.  With some roster changes and new strategies we should have a solid group for Faction Champs and beyond starting early December.
