How long have you been on Lightning's Blade? Do you consider your reputation here to be sound?
Almost a year, I came here around the end of November/early December
What raid experience do you have (WoW or Otherwise)? Please include any WWS Parse that you would like us to review.
I Raided all the way through BWL and just barely started AQ40 by the time BC was released. I did all of Kara, Gruul's and Mag's Lair before giving up on my terrible server and quitting until a few months into WotLK. For WotLK I have done everything except heroic RS and heroic 25 man LK (i have seen all the mechanics for phase 3 10 man LK HM).
What guilds have you been in, and why are you no longer there? Citizens of the Asylum, Jinxed (on sen'jin, my old server)
Then Fallout to Derivative on Lightning's Blade. Citizens of the Asylum fell apart due to lack of leadership, There was an officer rogue in Jinxed who I guess was intimidated by me, but ultimately lead to me being kicked from the guild. Fallout fell apart when the GM and his posse decided they didn't want to raid any more and decided Farmville on facebook was better. When the raiders migrated to Derivative under new leadership the old leaders from Fallout came back out from the woodworks and then took almost all the value from that guild bank, I haven't kept tabs on them since. Derivative was rocky at first due to some drama then later some bad leadership, I was made an officer fairly early and then leadership changed over to Riin, things were fine until SC2 was released and attendance steadily declined so we decided to call off Raiding as a guild until Cataclysm.
As for my reputation, its fine with the vast majority of the server, but if you have talked to anyone who knew bludelf/guanno or bealieu/awesomest then chances are their slander of me has reached you.
Tell us what role you are wanting to fill in raids, and why you would excel and enjoy doing it:
Top 5 DPS, I excel at it because I actually care about trying to do the top dps, when I get upgrades I spend hours in the spreadsheet fiddling with it to see if i could get 5 more dps this way or even 10 more dps that way. I read up on my class, whether its current/upcoming changes or if its something special that only rogues could do during a specific encounter (vanishing blistering cold on sindragosa).
What do you expect from your time here in Corvus, and what do you offer in return?
A chance to raid, perhaps the frostbrood vanquisher, I have mainly BiS gear already, or the best I predict I can get this expansion. Also I would like to note that the 17 times I have killed Rotface and Marrowgar on heroic that the gloves and boots have not dropped once off their respective bosses. /seriousrageface
Corvus will ask you to dedicate your raiding efforts to a single main character, and many alternate characters will never see an official raid (unless great need arose). Is this agreeable? Yes it is, Hrats already saw my holy paladin in action for Dreamwalker(29k HPS in the alt 10 man, I have gotten 45k+ HPS in the 25 man before), and I am fine if that were to happen for the 25 man. If not then more badges for my rogue.
Will you be able to commit to raid schedule within an acceptable margin, and also notify us in advance of any tardiness or absence? Yes
How did you hear about Corvus? Are any members here vouching/referring your application? Probably Theyas originally, but Riin is the one that pushed me to apply. I'm also part of the Derivative to Corvus band wagon
Anything else you would like to add or tell us about yourself? It would make me feel alot better leaving this expansion getting those god damn fucking heroic frostbitten fur boots and Aldriana's Gloves of Secrecy...
